We looked for a long time to find just what we wanted. We found this set and it was a lot less expensive than some of the other pieces we were looking at. They went together quickly and look quite nice. They are plenty sturdy. We got one for each side of the bed as well as the 5 drawer stands and the 2 drawer bench. Best of all, after a year and a half in the new house our alarm clocks aren't in the floor anymore.
They are extremely easy to assemble. I purchased a rattan basket to put in the bottom opening of each end table, for extra storage (magazines, news paper, etc.) or you can use it for a waste basket holder. I also purchased the matcbing bench which we placed at the foot of our bed. Even though these items are not the best quality, they look great, and will last for at least a couple of years, as long as you don't abuse them. Get your own Island Collection End Table now! A very nice table. Assemble was easy, with the exception of the plug that keeps the drawer from falling out. Also the farther you pull the drawer out the more it sags down. This can be fixed by gluing a couple of pieces of wood to the inside frame of the nightstand.

This table is a very nice inexpensive piece of furniture. It is easy to assemble and the the lighting inside the table is soft and lovely for atmosphere lighting in a bedroom. It also arrived quickly and in good condition. The finish is off medium quality, but it's pretty rugged for the money.
For the price, these are a great deal! Very easy to put together. It has soft lighting that they give to our bedroom and the light is very unobtrusive if one has to turn a light on when the other is sleeping.
